Our Vision
As a church, we desire to see God moving in all areas of the world. We have always been a sending church - whether it's short term relief missions, raising funds and awareness, or sending out long term missionaries. Our vision and purpose for missions is below. Please contact us if you have any questions at all regarding our missions ministry. The Purpose of S.E.N.T.
Purpose of S.E.N.T. (Sending Encouraging Nurturing Team):
- To see God’s heart accomplished in accordance with His Word: The Word displays His heart for missions, both short and long term. We desire to raise up and send out called and set-apart missionaries from our own fellowship.
- To come alongside current ministries: For the purpose of encouragement, fellowship, nurturing, teaching, and co-laboring. Current S.E.N.T. Missionaries
- To minister to short-term teams: To unite, equip, educate, and pastor personally and corporately.
- To Promote Missions Awareness: To help keep the fellowship aware of foreign missions, connecting the missionaries with the rest of the body of Christ.
The Reason
“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:14-15
The Logistics
“As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went-” Acts 13:2-4
The Goal
“And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation…’” Revelation 5:9
The Commandment
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ‘teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20 “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’” Mark 16:15
