Plan Your Visit

We meet at 9 and 10:30 am every Sunday.

Getting to know each other

Meeting new people can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time is no exception. Knowing what to expect is helpful, whether you're visiting the beautiful Morro Bay, on vacation, or new to church. No matter what, we want to help make your first experience at Shoreline Calvary a great one!

TIMES

Shoreline Calvary has weekly Sunday gatherings. Our service is also live-streamed at 9:00 am and available on demand.

  • Sundays at 9:00 & 10:30 am

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS

Shoreline Calvary is located at 2050 Ironwood Ave in Morro Bay. Here's a map. In Morro Bay, head out on Hwy 41 towards Atascadero. Turn left on Ironwood Ave, which is the next street after you pass Miner's Hardware. You'll find Shoreline Calvary on the right after you go up the hill.

We livestream our service on both YouTube and Facebook.

What can I expect?

How long?

In total, a Shoreline Calvary service is about 60 minutes in length.

We ring a ship's bell to announce the start of our gathering.

We begin by greeting each other and then settle down for announcements and a missionary update. Then we worship God with music. Feel free to sit, stand, or lift your hands--we just ask that you refrain from being a distraction to those around you.

Worship ends with a time of prayer and reflection. We take this time to share from the Word, pray and reflect together. Speak loud enough for all to hear, and short enough, so others can too.

We then transition to a time of Bible teaching from a pastor or guest speaker. (Currently, our verse-by-verse study is teaching through Romans.)

We share communion every week and end our time together with additional songs.

SOME THINGS TO KNOW:

You can get a cup of coffee or tea in the courtyard outside the Sanctuary. It's also a great place to meet some Shoreliners and get information about our church.

If you're new to "church," you may have questions--and we'd love to help you find the answers! Find one of our ushers in the hallway. They'll be glad to help you. They wear a name tag on a lanyard and are ready to assist. We hope and pray that the Lord will bless you as you experience the love of Jesus at Shoreline.

What's the atmosphere like at SHORELINE calvary?

Sundays at Shoreline Calvary are friendly, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

As for our building, we are in the process of renovating our first permanent building. Please excuse our dust as we continue work and settle in.

What about my kids?

We believe that children should have a great time at church every single week, and at Shoreline Kids, we make this a priority. We are here to know, grow and show the love of Jesus to our kids.

Another priority is your children’s safety - all helpers are known and screened before serving with children.

Shoreline Kids meet during the 10:30 am service.

We look forward to seeing our Shoreline Kids. They are such a beautiful part of the body of Christ.

Have a Middle Schooler? Our 6-8th graders are meeting during the 10:30 am service. It's a time of games, prayer and Bible study.
