SHORELINEyouth

Middle and High School

SHORELINEyouth has weekly gatherings and special events for students to grow in their love and knowledge of God as well as grow in fellowship with one another.

what are shoreline youth groups like? what do you do?

Every Friday night from 6:30-8pm, we gather as a youth group to grow in our relationship with Jesus through Bible study and fellowship. Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers meet separately, but occasionally they combine for part or all of the evening. On a typical Friday night, we will play a fun, interactive game for 30 minutes, then we transition to studying God’s word together. After Bible study, we will then again enjoy some fun games and fellowship with one another. Our vision is to guide students in the process of being devoted disciples of Christ, through the studying of the Word and deepening relationships with others.

middle school - sundays

We offer Middle School youth group on Sunday’s during 2nd service (10:30am). Your students will join in worship with the congregation, and then they will split off into their classroom. They will be taught the same passage as the main service. We hope that parents and their students can talk and share what was heard and learned at church.

why there isn't High school group on Sundays and What they should do instead.

Part of our heart for High School ministry is that parents and their teens develop a relationship of worship and service together on Sunday morning. This is why we do not have a group on Sunday mornings. We prefer our students to sit and listen in with their parents to foster conversation and discipleship relationships between parent and child. This allows families to worship and serve together in the church. We hope and pray this blesses your relationship together.

WHY

I come to youth group because I want to actively be engaging with my friends in fellowship. I come to youth group because it’s fun to play games with them, to laugh with them, and to worship the Lord with them. I especially love when I am able to lead musical worship at yg, it just fills me with so much joy to get to worship Him with all my friends and to be doing something I love at the same time - playing music. In short, I love youth group because I am actively growing in my relationships with my friends and my relationship with God. -Andy H
